Google’s official Pixelsnap cases for the Pixel 11 family are getting a 20% price cut, making the company’s first-party protection a little easier to justify for buyers who want to use magnetic accessories.
The regular Pixelsnap cases normally cost $49.99 in the U.S. The current 20% discount brings them down to $39.99. The offer covers the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL cases, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold case has also received a separate discount.
The regular Pixel 11 case drops to $39.99
The standard Google Pixelsnap Case is normally priced at $49.99. A 20% discount takes $10 off that price, bringing the case to $39.99.
The discounted cases are official Google accessories made specifically for the Pixel 11 series. Google says the case is designed to fit the phones closely while protecting the display and camera bar.
Google currently offers the regular Pixelsnap Case for three phones:
- Pixel 11
- Pixel 11 Pro
- Pixel 11 Pro XL
The same $39.99 sale price applies to the regular models in the reported U.S. deal.
What you get with the Pixelsnap Case
The main reason to consider Google’s case is the built-in magnetic system.
The Pixelsnap Case works with magnetic accessories such as wireless chargers, grips and stands. Google’s Pixelsnap system uses the Qi2 magnetic standard, which helps compatible accessories line up correctly with the phone for wireless charging.
The case is also designed to protect the phone during everyday use. Google says it has been drop-tested for hundreds of hours, while raised edges help protect the display and additional material around the camera bar provides extra protection.
The case is made from a polycarbonate shell, with Google saying at least 45% of the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro cases are made from recycled materials. The polycarbonate shell itself uses 75% recycled plastic, and the magnets use recycled rare-earth elements.
Pixel 11 Pixelsnap Case specifications
The three regular cases are slightly different in size and weight because the phones themselves are different.
| Model | Width | Height | Depth | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pixel 11 | 76.2 mm | 157.0 mm | 11.5 mm | 30.3 g |
| Pixel 11 Pro | 76.2 mm | 157.0 mm | 11.3 mm | 31.5 g |
| Pixel 11 Pro XL | 80.7 mm | 166.7 mm | 11.3 mm | 35.1 g |
Each case has a one-year warranty. Google also packages the cases without plastic packaging.
There are several colors to choose from
Google is offering different colors depending on the Pixel model.
For the regular Pixel 11, the available Pixelsnap Case colors are Frost, Obsidian, Pistachio and Hibiscus. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL versions come in Canyon, Obsidian, Olive and Fog.
Google has also introduced a clear Pixelsnap Case for the Pixel 11 series. That version is designed for people who want protection while still being able to see the phone’s original color and design.
The clear version normally costs $49.99 in the U.S. as well.
The Pixelsnap system is more than just a case
The case becomes more useful if you already plan to use magnetic accessories.
Google’s Pixelsnap accessories include magnetic chargers and the Pixelsnap Ring Stand. The Ring Stand attaches magnetically to compatible Pixel 11 phones and Google cases and can be used for hands-free viewing.
Google says the Ring Stand is intended for hands-free viewing rather than use as a grip. It needs to be removed before wireless charging.
That means the case can act as the connection point for a larger accessory system rather than simply protecting the phone.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold gets a bigger discount
Google’s foldable phone has a different Pixelsnap case.
The official Pixel 11 Pro Fold case normally costs $79.99. The reported promotion cuts that price by $16, bringing it to $63.99. The Fold case also adds a hinge cover, giving the foldable additional protection in an area that does not exist on the regular Pixel 11 models.
The Fold case is therefore more expensive than the regular Pixel 11 cases even after the discount.
| Case | Regular U.S. price | Discounted price | Savings |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pixel 11 Pixelsnap Case | $49.99 | $39.99 | $10 |
| Pixel 11 Pro Pixelsnap Case | $49.99 | $39.99 | $10 |
| Pixel 11 Pro XL Pixelsnap Case | $49.99 | $39.99 | $10 |
| Pixel 11 Pro Fold Pixelsnap Case | $79.99 | $63.99 | $16 |
The discounts are reported as limited-time offers, so the sale price can change or end without notice.
Is the Pixelsnap Case worth buying?
At $49.99, Google’s official case is relatively expensive compared with many third-party Pixel cases. The 20% discount makes the price more reasonable, especially for people who plan to use magnetic charging or other Pixelsnap accessories.
The biggest advantage is the combination of first-party fit and magnetic compatibility. Google specifically designed the case for Pixel 11 phones and says it does not interfere with signal, power or sound.
The case is also a sensible choice for someone who wants Google’s own design and materials rather than an inexpensive third-party alternative.
On the other hand, someone who only needs basic protection may not need to spend nearly $40 on a case. There are many cheaper options, and the extra value of the Pixelsnap Case mainly comes from its magnetic accessory support and official Google design.
The discount comes at an interesting time
The timing of the sale is notable because the Pixel 11 family is still new. Google’s official cases are therefore already receiving a meaningful discount shortly after the phones arrived.
The deal also gives buyers another reason to consider Google’s accessories instead of purchasing a case at full price.
For people who already have a Pixel 11 and have been waiting to buy an official case, the $39.99 price is considerably easier to accept than the original $49.99 price.
Final word
The 20% discount makes Google’s official Pixel 11 Pixelsnap Case more attractive than it was at launch. The regular models fall from $49.99 to $39.99, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold case drops from $79.99 to $63.99.
The main attraction is not simply protection. The Pixelsnap Case gives Pixel 11 owners access to Google’s magnetic accessory system, including Qi2 wireless charging, stands and other compatible accessories.
For buyers who want an official Google case and plan to use magnetic accessories, $39.99 is a more reasonable price. For anyone who only wants a basic protective cover, cheaper cases may still make more sense.
The discount is described as limited-time, so anyone interested should check the current price before purchasing.
