![# New Motorola Razr Swarovski Edition Teased, Launch Date Revealed Motorola is preparing another crystal-covered Razr, and this time the company appears to be changing the look of its luxury foldable. A new teaser shows a sparkling Razr ahead of its expected unveiling at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The new model is expected to be based on the Motorola Razr 70, which is also known as the Razr 2026 in the US. Motorola has not yet shared the full specifications, price, or market availability of the special edition. ### Motorola gives the new Razr its first teaser Motorola has started teasing a new Swarovski-themed Razr through a short video showing the rear of the foldable phone. The teaser focuses on the crystals and does not yet reveal the complete device or all of its features. Current reports point to an IFA 2026 unveiling in Berlin, with the event running from September 5 to September 9. ([megamobilecontent.com][1]) The teaser is part of Motorola's continuing work with Swarovski. The two companies previously worked together on the Razr 60 and other special-edition devices. The new phone appears to continue that idea while giving the Razr a different look for 2026. ### Launch date and what is confirmed The biggest news is the timing. Motorola is expected to reveal the new Swarovski Razr around the start of IFA 2026, which begins on September 5 in Berlin. The teaser points to an announcement during the opening days of the event, although Motorola has not publicly confirmed a specific retail sale date in the information currently available. ([megamobilecontent.com][1]) | Detail | Current information | | ------------------- | ----------------------------------- | | Phone | New Motorola Razr Swarovski Edition | | Expected base model | Motorola Razr 70 | | Expected US name | Motorola Razr 2026 | | Reveal event | IFA 2026 | | IFA dates | September 5 to September 9, 2026 | | Design partner | Swarovski | | Price | Not announced | | Sales markets | Not announced | This distinction matters because a product reveal date and a retail launch date are not always the same. For now, the confirmed information points to an early-September unveiling rather than a confirmed date when customers can buy the phone. ### A darker look could make this Razr different Leaked images published earlier this year showed what is believed to be the same Swarovski Razr with a black rear panel. The panel has a quilted texture and numerous crystal-like details, giving the phone a much darker look than the white Ice Melt version used for the previous Swarovski Razr. ([Android Authority][2]) The leaked design also showed crystals around the upper rear section and a larger decorative crystal around the hinge area. However, Motorola has not officially confirmed the leaked images, so these design details should still be treated as unconfirmed until the company fully introduces the phone. The change to black would be notable because the previous Razr Swarovski Edition used a bright Pantone Ice Melt finish. Motorola's official description of that earlier model said it had a 3D quilted design and 35 hand-positioned Swarovski crystals, including a larger crystal on the hinge. ([Motorola News][3]) ### What the new edition may include The leaked images suggest that Motorola may keep the basic Razr design and hardware while focusing most of the changes on the outside. That would fit the approach Motorola used with earlier Swarovski editions, where the main attraction was the special finish rather than a completely different phone. The current leaks suggest these possible design elements: * A black quilted rear finish * Swarovski-style crystals across the rear panel * Additional crystals around the cover-screen area * A larger decorative crystal around the hinge Reports also suggest that the box could include a clear protective case, a USB-C cable and a 33W charging adapter. These details come from leaks and have not been confirmed by Motorola. ([Android Central][4]) ### The phone is likely to remain a style-focused special edition Motorola's earlier Swarovski Razr shows what the company is trying to achieve with these editions. The phone is not simply about adding a few decorative pieces. Motorola has presented the collaboration as a mix of technology, fashion and jewelry-style design. The previous Brilliant Collection Razr used a quilted finish with 35 Swarovski crystals and came with a premium crossbody case. Motorola also released matching Moto Buds Loop earbuds as part of that collection. ([Motorola News][3]) The new model appears to follow the same basic idea, but the darker finish could make it look more understated while still keeping the crystal details as the main visual feature. ### Price and availability are still unknown Motorola has not yet announced the price of the new Swarovski Razr. It has also not confirmed which countries will receive it or whether the phone will be sold in India. That is important for buyers because earlier Swarovski editions were released in selected markets and in limited quantities. The Razr 60 Swarovski Edition, for example, was later brought to India as part of Motorola's Brilliant Collection. ([NDTV][5]) Until Motorola gives official details, there is no reliable price or India sale date to report for the new model. Buyers should also avoid treating leaked specifications or package contents as final information. ### What to expect from Motorola next The new teaser makes it clear that Motorola is not finished with its Swarovski partnership. The company is preparing another special Razr that puts its design and luxury appeal ahead of major hardware changes. The expected IFA 2026 reveal should answer the biggest remaining questions, including the phone's official name, final design, price, sales markets and exact availability date. For now, the clearest information is that Motorola has teased the new Swarovski Razr and is pointing toward an early-September reveal in Berlin. If the leaked black design is accurate, this year's model could be the most visually different Swarovski Razr yet. The final details, however, will depend on Motorola's official announcement.
