iPhone 18 Pro (Max) Gets a Premium Caviar Makeover—Gold, Titanium and More

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have received a very different kind of upgrade from luxury customization company Caviar. Instead of changing Apple’s internal hardware, Caviar has turned the phones into high-end collector pieces using materials such as 18-karat gold, titanium, carbon fiber and jewelry enamel.

The new custom editions are aimed at buyers who want something far more exclusive than Apple’s standard finishes. Prices range from several thousand dollars to more than $150,000 for some extremely limited designs.

Caviar is giving the iPhone 18 Pro a luxury makeover

Caviar specializes in customizing premium smartphones with precious materials, special artwork and limited-edition designs. For the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, the company has introduced a wide collection of custom versions rather than a single special model.

The designs include gold, titanium, carbon fiber, leather and other decorative elements. Some models are limited to a small number of pieces, making them more like luxury collectibles than ordinary smartphones.

Caviar’s new collection follows Apple’s launch of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. The company says its first customized editions will begin shipping in October.

Gold is at the center of several editions

Gold is one of the biggest themes in Caviar’s new iPhone 18 Pro collection.

The Gold Apple edition, for example, features a three-dimensional Apple logo made from 18-karat gold. The design also uses carbon with gold-colored details and comes with custom artwork for the phone’s display. Caviar says only 50 pieces will be made for this edition, created to mark Apple’s 50th anniversary.

The Gold Apple model starts at $9,560 on Caviar’s current listing. The final price changes depending on the selected iPhone model and storage capacity.

Caviar also has much more expensive gold-focused designs. Its Gold Collection includes versions using 18-karat and 24-karat gold, with listed prices reaching tens of thousands of dollars.

Titanium brings a different look

Not every Caviar version is covered in gold. Titanium is another major part of the new designs.

The company’s Tapisserie edition combines titanium with black PVD coating and gold plating. Caviar says the design uses a double electroplating process with 999 fine gold at a thickness of 7 microns. The pattern is inspired by luxury watch design.

This approach gives the phone a darker, more technical appearance while still adding precious-metal details.

Caviar has also created several other titanium-focused designs, showing that buyers can choose between a traditional gold-heavy appearance and a more understated metal finish.

Some versions use carbon fiber and enamel

Caviar is also using materials that are lighter and more visually distinctive than solid precious metals.

Forged carbon fiber appears in the company’s Contrast Edition. The collection combines different materials and colors to create a contrasting look on the back of the phone. Caviar lists titanium, double 999 fine gold plating, forged carbon fiber and jewelry enamel among the materials used across the four designs.

The company has also used jewel enamel in other customized iPhone designs. These details are mainly about appearance rather than changing how the iPhone works.

Some of the new Caviar editions are extremely expensive

The price difference between Apple’s standard iPhone and Caviar’s versions is substantial.

Caviar’s current iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max catalog includes models starting at $8,130, while several other designs cost more than $10,000. Some special editions go much higher.

The Golden Booster takes the idea much further

One of the most unusual versions is called the Golden Booster.

Caviar describes it as a smartphone with a watch of the future integrated into its design. The body uses golden carbon, while the frames and gears are made from 18-karat gold. The company says the edition is limited to only three pieces worldwide.

The listed price is $157,100, making it dramatically more expensive than both the standard iPhone 18 Pro and most other Caviar editions.

This model is clearly aimed at collectors rather than ordinary smartphone buyers. Its value comes from the materials, craftsmanship, limited production and integrated mechanical design rather than from additional iPhone features.

Caviar is also offering more personal designs

The company is not limiting buyers to a small group of fixed styles. Caviar says customers can commission bespoke designs and choose materials, colors, engraving and personal symbols.

That means two customized iPhones do not necessarily have to look the same. The company positions its service as a way to create a phone around the owner’s preferred style.

For buyers interested in exclusivity, this customization is an important part of Caviar’s business model. The iPhone becomes a personalized luxury item rather than simply an electronic device.

The custom versions do not change Apple’s core hardware

It is important to understand what a Caviar makeover actually changes.

The customization is primarily about the phone’s exterior, materials and decorative elements. The underlying iPhone remains an Apple device, with its normal processor, display, cameras, operating system and other hardware.

Caviar’s own product listings describe these products as custom iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models. The company is adding its own materials and design work to Apple’s phone rather than creating a separate smartphone platform.

That distinction matters because the higher price is not paying for a faster Apple chip or a fundamentally different camera system.

Caviar has created several styles for different tastes

The collection includes designs that range from relatively simple luxury treatments to highly elaborate collector pieces.

Some models focus on precious metals. Others use darker finishes, carbon fiber or decorative patterns. Caviar’s current catalog includes names such as Black Apple, Gold Apple, Emperor, Pharaoh, King, Shadow and Serpentis Pearl.

The company has also continued adding new designs. Its recent collection history shows several iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max editions introduced in September 2026, including Gold Wine, Titanium Grey and Black Moon.

This gives buyers a much wider choice than Apple’s standard color lineup.

When will the customized iPhones ship?

Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max began their regular sales cycle in September 2026. Caviar says its first custom editions will begin shipping in October.

That means buyers interested in a customized version will have to wait beyond Apple’s standard launch.

Caviar also handles these products through its own ordering process, with the company directing customers to a manager for purchases and customization requests.

A luxury version of an already expensive phone

The Caviar iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max collection shows how far smartphone customization can go when the focus shifts from technology to luxury.

Gold logos, titanium surfaces, carbon fiber, enamel, leather and limited production runs turn Apple’s flagship phones into collector-style products. Some designs cost several times the price of the original phone, while the most unusual editions reach six-figure prices.

For most iPhone buyers, Apple’s standard models will remain the practical choice. Caviar’s versions are aimed at a much smaller audience that values rare materials, custom design and exclusivity.

The new collection also shows that the iPhone 18 Pro is becoming a base for luxury customization as well as a high-end smartphone. With everything from relatively simple gold details to an 18-karat-gold model with an integrated mechanical watch, Caviar has created an unusually wide range of choices for buyers looking for something far beyond Apple’s standard design.
